First technology center opens in Gyumri

The large scale program of recontructing Gyumri into a technocity launched with te opening ceremony of Gyumri’s technopark 13 September, 2014.  e-Works  with its Gyumri branch became one of the leading companies of the center.

Gyumri technology center was founded as a result of cooperation between the Armenian government, Enterprise Incubator Foundation, and the World Bank.

Our French partner Web-ISI, a company working in IT sector for over 10 years, is chosen as an enterprise representing successful economic cooperation between Armenia and France.

Armen Mnatzakanian says one of the advantages is an opportunity to use experience and contribution of French and Armenian employees. A 35-member Armenian team of skilled engineers quickly responds to the most difficult tenders, he says. 

Armenia-France business forum was hold within the framework of Hollande’s two-day state visit to Armenia.

French-Armenian Economy Awards

 photo-1The Gala Closing of the French-Armenian Excellence Week organized by the French-Armenian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIFA) and under the patronage of the municipality of Marseilles was held in the hotel “Massalia” in Marseille, on June 22. The “French-Armenian Excellence Week” awas supported by a number of French-Armenian organizations, as well as French and Armenian media outlets.

During the evening more than a dozen
photo-3 “French-Armenian Economy Awards” were distributed. Among the guests participating in the evening were Hranush Hakobyan (Minister of Diaspora RA ), Varujan Voskanian (Romania’s Minister of Economy and Commerce), Valérie Boyer (a member of the National Assembly of France) and many other famous people.
